As a senior, I don’t have as many opportunities to get out of the house.
But last year, one of my friends introduced me to a yoga class specifically for those a little older (and a little fragile!).
It’s made a huge difference not only with my flexibility and strength, but it has also boosted my confidence. We work with the chair instead of getting up and down off the floor and this makes yoga less intimidating for people – meaning people are more likely to join the class.
The class doesn’t end there either. We usually head out for coffee after which is almost the best part!
