Life’s Experience
Author: David (69)
I am aged 69 and spent 36 years employed with Corrections Victoria. I worked at a number of prisons from open camps to high security, also spending time as a training instructor Acting Governor in the early 90’s at Watsonia Victoria. The last eight years was spent as a Aboriginal Liaison Officer retiring in 2017 at the age of sixty.
I live with my wife on a small rural property at Leopold Victoria running a few Beef cattle and spent a number of years as a volunteer with Karingal Geelong assisting clients with brain injury etc, I found this most rewarding.
I have four grandchildren so help with the school runs and trips which keeps my wife and I very active!
I enjoy my retirement. One thing a retiree needs in retirement is to have an interest.
