I’m 63 and a breast cancer survivor. Throughout chemo, I was told to do brain exercises. I didn’t think much of it at the time to be honest… why would you when you’ve got a fully functioning brain and mind?

But as time went on I realised how valuable it was. Chemo affects your short term memory and I was forgetting words like pen, fridge and shower. The brain exercises then became a ritual. I’d do them everyday.

It’s amazing what 10min of your day exerting your brain and mind can do. Even if you’re not going through chemo, brain exercises are brilliant. I still do them now!!
